Agent CSR

Insure Link, a subsidiary of FedNat Holding Company is seeking a licensed 4-40 Customer Service Rep. to join our Agency team. This position requires knowledge of auto and homeowners insurance. A minimum of 1-year experience in an insurance agency setting. Candidate must demonstrate strong independent abilities, sound judgment, excellent decision-making and problem solving skills.

The essentials of the Agency position will be to:

  • Communicate with new and existing policy holders.
  • Interview prospective clients to obtain data about their financial resources and needs, the physical condition of the property to be insured, and to discuss any existing coverage.
  • Maintain client relationships by networking to find new customers and generate lists of prospective clients.
  • Explain features, advantages and disadvantages of various policies to promote sale of insurance plans.
  • Ensure that policy requirements are fulfilled, including completion of appropriate forms.
  • Confer with clients to obtain and provide information when claims are made on a policy.
  • Process and record endorsement activity, renewal, non-renewals, invoicing, special projects, data entry and customer service.
  • Answer calls in a timely manner providing accurate information to insured(s).

Candidate should be strong in both written and verbal communication. Excellent customer service skills. Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish). Should have a strong familiarity with personal computer software (Quick File or AMS360 is a plus).

Software Engineer

Successful insurance company seeking a qualified Software Engineer to join our team. This position requires a minimum of 1 – 3 years relevant job experience with a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or other related area. Must have good working knowledge of operational, software and hardware. This candidate must demonstrate sound judgment, excellent problem solving skills, attention to detail and good communication.

The essentials of this position will be to:

  • Modify existing software to correct errors, allow it to adapt to new hardware, or to improve performance.
  • Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures, programming and documentation.
  • Confer with other engineers, programmers, analysts and others to design system and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces.
  • Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
  • Store, retrieve and manipulate data for analysis of system capabilities and requirements.

Candidate should be experienced in most of the following: Java, JavaScript, GWT, HTML, CSS, XML, SOAP/Web Services, Eclipse, SVN, Ant, JBoss, and Photoshop.
